Marc Aidinoff
Ph.D. CandidateMarc Aidinoff spends his time thinking about how organizations develop structures for decision making. He studies the ways in which systems designed to manage knowledge can play a determinative role in policy outcomes. From the competing bureaucracies of the American national security apparatus to the growing efforts to make local governments more “data-driven,” Marc is interested in organizational attempts to manage the lifecycle of knowledge.
Marc has followed the data-driven government movement from the inside when he worked as Assistant Policy Director for Vice President Joe Biden. There, he handled a broad portfolio, including job-driven training and infrastructure investment. He is also involved with Civis Analytics, a progressive predictive analytics firm that helps target outreach for public-sector services.
Marc received his AB summa cum laude from Harvard University.
